maybe i have a busted axle, but which one?
i get a bad whirring sound whenever i make a right turn (95 integra). so i'm assuming that it's a busted axle? it's fine making left turns, so does that mean that it's a particular side? or might it be something other than the axle?
both boots look ok, and i can't identify the sound coming from one side or the other. is the fact that it makes the sound in right turns only indicative of a bad joint on a particular side?
uve got either a bad cv shaft or a wheel bearing going out on you. more likely the driveshaft though and the right one at that but to be sure take it to a good shop and they could tell ya in a matter of minutes and yes its only one side by the sounds of it
the same thing happened to me (i had a cracking sound during turns), i suggest you go to any shop and get it checked out as soon as possible my assumption is that it is one or both of your cv joints.
i highly suggest u dont drive on bad cv joints......

It's a wheel bearing. Axles(cv boot/joint) click when they are bad...wheel bearings whirr.
