5w20 oil change in INTEGRA bad??

Default 5w20 oil change in INTEGRA bad??

sup everyone. the honda service put 5w20, manual says to use 5w30 or 10w30.. will this f up my engine???

They recommend that for the newer Honda motors. I don't think I would use it during the hot weather though. Thinner oil means less drag and that may improve fuel economy. I doubt if it would screw up your motor though.

i dont think changing ur oil to a different weight is a good thing. Super Street Magazine just did a big article on this like two months ago. Unless you consult a pro, I wouldnt recommend it.

constantly changing your weight every change is not good but what happened in your case is not bad at all...plenty of people change weights every summer and winter

Your good; as long as it is not extremely hot around there. Just try to stick with the appropriate weight and viscosity next time and your golden.

I always put 10w30
