The weak link is the automatic transmission.
More than about 200 crank hp will sorely test it's ability to shed heat and put down power. I've yet to hear of a solution that makes the Integra auto trans a reliable component in dealing with high horsepower.

Two options:
a) Convert to a manual transmission, assuming the laws in Illinois allow it. (Check.)
b) Save up for a manual trans Integra LS.

Oh, and unless you're buying a brand-name turbo kit (like GReddy or DRAG or RevHard), I would avoid eBay, personally. h:

If you are spending the money to get more power, save up a little more for manual

the clutch plates on the auto integra aren't the greatest... 200 crank HP would be about it. My so cal integra is on its second tranny.

Auto turbo is possible. My old buddy had an auto turbo, and for a reason, he cant drive a manual, he was injured when he was younger so you know the deal with that. He however built and turbo'd the car himself, and it looks amazing, being worked on now but the last time he went to the track I believe he got himself into the 13's. And yes, its more than 200hp, dyno'd at around ~300hp. It is possible, but if your not in certain circumstances, go with a manual.

Nice. If you can the low-down on how his transmission has held up and what he's done to strengthen it, that would be a great help for the board.

Thanks in advance.
