Auto + Turbo good idea or...
94 ls a/t is it worth is to turbo, has anyone done it, and is ebay a good place to get all that stuff from ( turbo, intercooler, manifold, turbo camshafts, valves springs retainers) its cheap, but is it worth it, or should i just save for a nicer car.
The weak link is the automatic transmission.
More than about 200 crank hp will sorely test it's ability to shed heat and put down power. I've yet to hear of a solution that makes the Integra auto trans a reliable component in dealing with high horsepower.
Two options:
a) Convert to a manual transmission, assuming the laws in Illinois allow it. (Check.)
b) Save up for a manual trans Integra LS.

Oh, and unless you're buying a brand-name turbo kit (like GReddy or DRAG or RevHard), I would avoid eBay, personally.

Auto turbo is possible. My old buddy had an auto turbo, and for a reason, he cant drive a manual, he was injured when he was younger so you know the deal with that. He however built and turbo'd the car himself, and it looks amazing, being worked on now but the last time he went to the track I believe he got himself into the 13's. And yes, its more than 200hp, dyno'd at around ~300hp. It is possible, but if your not in certain circumstances, go with a manual.

Thanks in advance.
