I just got a 1995 integra from a private seller. He said he thinks it is a Ls.It doesnt have the factory manual and is a automatic. When i opened the drivers side door and looked at the whtie sticker with the car info it said Integra Gs-r. He had put in a new engine the year before but eninge doesnt say anything about v-tec. so do i have a gs-r? how can i find out what it is? or what kind of engine the new one is? thanks

 

On your engine block their is a code stamped into it, what does it say?

What are the first 6 numbers of your VIN. Also, look on your insurance card, it should tell you the model.

 

The stamp should be to the left of the header and a little down. You'r gonna be looking for, b18c1 or b18b1

 

well i can tell ya right now u dont have a gsr...or it started life as one but isnt now...cuz they didnt make a automatic gsr. so possibly that door is from another teg. been in an accident maybe??

 

4-dr GSR's came with auto tranny's.

news to me because from what ive seen gsr was strictly a manual and kelly blue book does agree with me on this. at least on this particular 95

 

The G3 GS-R Integra sedans didn't come in automatic, even the leather editions.
