We have covered this topic literally dozens of times this year alone. :hsd:
Let me call up a good reference thread from a few weeks ago.
In the mean time... I'm averaging about 26.1 mpg over the last 30 months.
Crunch the numbers with a reciept from the gas station and the trip meter on your car. If you're in the mid 20's, you're doing fine.

I had a similiar problem and found out that the thermostat was bad and this was causing the computer to add to much fuel. Make sure your thermostat is good. They only cost $10-$15 so it may be worth replacing.
My tank is supposed to be 50 liters (12,5 us gal?). I'm driving a while with the gas light on and I'm only able to fill 40 liters in the tank. So the gauge and the light come too much early? What about yours?
I'm able to do approx 440-450 km (280 miles) with 40 liters(10.1 gal).
