Default lsvtec 2.0 turbo

hey guys is it possible to do lsvtev 2.0 turbo? now i know i wont be able to drive it much but what are some information i should know about it? or wahts your opinion on it? cuz i already have lsvtec....but what now? and my friend wants to know if you can make lsvtec with a gsr head?

why wouln't you be able to drive it much? build it right and it will be super reliable and very fun

oh really? well my friend said if i did it it would be right to drive it daily....i mean to like school and back which is like 2 miles away...like that would be alright right?

A non built CRVTEC boosted is a time bomb. Not worth it unless you build it.

Is there a reason you want to use an LS/B20 bottom end? Why not just go with a C1 and bore it to 84/85mm to attain the 2.0L displacement? That's what I did. h:

yeah i guess the C1 is better...what results did you have to it? but my friend says that i can still build a lsvtec 2.0 out of a stock ls....i am realy confused

An LS/VTEC is an LS motor with a DOHC VTEC head (B18C1, B18C5, B16A, B16B). You have to make or buy the conversion kit so that the oil passages are available for the VTEC head to work with the nonVTEC block.

resleeve and bore a b18 block to 84-85mm and you have yourself a 2L block.
