Advancing Ignition Timing
I have been looking around and it seems that advancing ignition timing will give better low end power. I have tried this myself and it seems to work a bit. However, how much can you advance the timing and whats the best way to do this without a dyno machine in the back yard?
You can advance it until you ping...I wouldn't go past 20 probably.

you need a timing light obviously. Hook it up and fire it at your crank pulley while the engine is idling at 750 rpm +- 50rpm's. The red mark is BTDC 16 degrees and white is 0. Green is like 14 i think, check the helms, but you want to be as close to the red as possible.
