Manual swap or everything swap?
Ok so im at the track the other day, and one of my buddys just got a new civic ex stock, he wanted to see who was faster, i thought for sure i would win, i have way more in my car then him 94 rs ( Skunk2 ITM, Custom 3'' Intake, DC Header, Tsudo catback exhaust w/ hi flo cat, AEM true power pulleys, AEM cam gears, MSD 8.5mm wires, Zex spark plugs) just to name a few, so i figured i would run a better quarter mile, i was wrong, and i KNOW his car is stock, i saw under the hood, and i know the kid very well he wouldnt lie to me, BUT my car is Auto.. DOH, and he said that was the main reason i lost, and he said my car needs tuning. Now on to the question, is it easier to do a manual swap, or just to buy a manual teg, then swap everything into it, im sure it would be cheaper, but i mean like everything, just buy a cheap teg and swap pretty much everything, what do youy guys think.
Alot of people are going to tell you to take the lower passage and sell your teg and buy a manual... but I believe that if you like your car enough, try to go about getting a swap done. I am still having an inner struggle on doing one to my car...
The two issues that I bring up when people are considering an auto-to-manual conversion are:
1) Smog legality. In the tight-ass states like CA, there are legal restrictions and hoops to jump through when one makes the conversion. So check the laws.
2) Resale value. If the car has really high miles, its probably not an issue. If you plan on keeping her until the sun burns out, then its not an issue at all.
Once those 2 concerns are addressed, the next question is money. Run the numbers to see which is cheaper. Factor in registration costs if you buy a manual Integra to replace your automatic Teg... and the time it takes to sell your car. You know, all the pedantic crap your DMV will want.

i'd say keep your car and go for the swap as long as the body doesn't have any rust or serious blemishes. If you've got rust, now is a good time to dump that headache waiting to happen.
yea my car has a few dings and the trunk is flat red, ( spoiler dissaster, dont ask) so i might just sell it, but the motor only has 79000 , thats not bad, i want to keep the motor, still not sure what to do.
well if you're not mechanically inclined, getting a new car might be the better answer. You'll end up sinking a lot of money into labor if you pay somebody else to do it. And if you DIY, count on plenty of downtime during the swap.
