Default How much will stock exhaust hurt this setup?

Here are the mods I'm putting in the next couple months. As you will notice, I don't have current plans to enhance to cat or exhaust. I'm looking for feedback on how much this will restrict my gains. Thanks. I also have a thread with extensive feedback on my mod plans HERE AND ALSO HERE . Thanks for the feedback.

It won't hold you back as much as if you had a turbo setup, but it would be a good idea to get a wider piping.

I wouldn't know of the exact numbers, but the difference will be almost negligible.

You'd gain more power than a mostly stock car. Look up some dyno sheets for exhausts.

Obviously the stock exhaust is going to hurt you most at high RPM, where those cams/intake manifold make the most power.

Megan Racing? Running a high flow cat and leaving stock piping won't do anything for you...just moving the bottleneck around. Don't spend all that money on parts, and then skimp out on an exhaust.

I think he meant the custom catback with the stock looking exhaust whilst replacing the cat with a Megan test pipe. "whose megan" was an attempt at a joke, but its late, so hey, whatevr.

Ahh gotcha. Yeah, a lot of honda-tech guys are in love with the ES oval style chambered muffler, and custom catback piping.
