Please Help My GSR Has No Power
I just go done swapping out my B18B for a GSR Motor. However, its been almost a month and I can't figure out why my car does not have any power. I mean it is 80% slower and less powerful than my old motor. I bet you a bike can beat me at any gear. And I have high compression TYPE-R pistons in this baby. I mean motor runs fine with stable idling. The valve train is new and just had a head job from the machine shop. I did compression check and everything was good. Even tested for leaks in the vacuum and found no leak. I also readjust the valve clearance as double check the timing but nothing seems to help. Also got a new catalyst converter and the entire exhaust system from the header all the way to the muffler is new. Matter of fact I even disassembled the pieces to make sure nothing stuck inside. I have AEM cold air intake with K&N filter and its also new. I have 3 different manuals including the HELMS and been sitting on this thing all month. Can anyone tell me what else I need to check for.
I can tell you right now.. its probably a timing issuse.. Check your dizzy make sure its not too retarded or adviced and check your cams.. even being off a tooth it can seriously kill some power.. Also definialy check that ecu out man if your running a gsr u should see a p72 in that baby.. if not.. your reason why you have no power was just found.
This thing is running on a P72 ECU ODB2 of course. As for basic tune up, of course all the fluid has been flushed and brand new with brand new Iridium spark plugs. What else am I leaving out of the picture. Please shine me some light. Thank you.

I got these AEM adjustable cams for show and I have both at 0. Whats the best way to play around with these and how much should I adjust. Oh, by the way, the last time I messed around with these I actually bent my valves and therefore the new ones were replaced. Also, in regards to valve clearance. The Helms manual says that you must slide the feeler gauge so that you could feel "a slight drag". Call me a dummy but how much is a "slight drag" because i have adjust the valve clearance 3 times already with each clearance a "slight drag" but that didnt seem to help. Thanks for bring my turtle to life guys....heheheeh....
