Default GReddy strut bars

Are the tripple tube model strut bars from GReddy worth the extra cash or are the normal ones good enough?
thanx

well GReddy is a good reputable company so "instinctively" i would say yes but i dunno if strut bars are Greddy's strong points. every companys got something they suck at but i aint saying that theyre strut bars are good or bad

ud put a strut bar on a car with shock cuz even with shock ur chassie twists and flexs. strut towers are know to flex up to 1in during hard cornering, even with shocks.

Was that english???

There is not nearly enough force on the top of a shock tower that putting a bar across it is going ot make a huge differnce. The upper control arm is going to take most of the beating and a minamal amount of force may be transfered to the shock towers. Sway bars, or shocks, or even tires are going to make a bigger difference that a strut tower bar.

Theres this guy who has a site on the net where he shows what he did to his integra. he put in a strutbar that he got on ebay, not a know brand i think, some noname crap, and anyways he says the handling in hard cornering got wayyy better and he could notice the difference very well.

Its called the placebo effect... I want' real numbers. I took my off and on for an autocross and while the front windshield in my del sol shook more, the car did not feel that differnce and there was hardly any differnce in times.

Your money would be better spend on a rear sway bar setup like the Comptech combo. Strut bars are mainly cosmetic.
