Why ME!
Well Gents and Ladies I got in another f*#%ing accidents again. I just had my ITR suited w/JDM's and today some guys driving a corolla, GOD knows what's going in the drivers mind ran on a red light making a left turn. Damn it. Now what? Need help what should I do next. The guy has insurance and my body is hurting. I don't know if I could keep a car that had been on accidents almost every f*#%ing year (2000). My wife would like to get it totalled as do I, but tell me guys what should I do. I hate to move on and go for S4, STI, or maybe an EVO. How could I get this option on the table? Anyone been on this situation? I don't have receipts for the upgrades including wheels. Btw, one of my rim broke, do you think I could ask for a new set of Rims. Please help? I could post pix but do not know how.
I'm thinking of finding someone close and have them do the upgrade and give the bill to the other insurance. You think its this easy. I have some Slipstream on them right now but thinking of upgrading and telling them that it cost 2G's.
That sucks dude. It always seems like the worst drivers are Corolla/Camry drivers.
My friend's hatchback was totaled while I was in it and he was also not at fault. Insurance covers (depending on your company) up to $2,000 of upgrades on your car. Unfortunately, I don't think they will honor it if you don't have any receipts but I would try to print out what it would cost to buy the exact same parts and match them to your parts with pictures...just a thought.
First off, do you have a lawyer? Personal injury lawyers usually don't get money unless you do, and usually take 1/3. In the end it is definately worth it-they handle everything and get you much more money than personal injury protection from insurance alone. If your body is hurting, you should be in therapy to back your claims, and your lawyer will always know which place is the best (for you) to go for therapy.
My friend and I were in 3 months of therapy, were recently released and the lawsuit is being settled now. The lawyer helped during the whole process and made it really easy.
Good luck to you with this, it's sad to hear an ITR was the victim, but at least you are ok.
