I blew my motor a few days ago and i was wondering how much its going to cost to fix everything including the engine. I just want the same engine back in my car. Should i get a new or used engine? Someone please give me a good answer cause my experience here has been pretty bad(no one knows technical things, i get vague sometimes insulting replies). If no one can answer could you direct me to a forum that can get into the more technical aspects of replacing my engine and the cost of it. thanks in advance.

When you say your engine is "blown," what exactly is wrong with it? It might be fixable and it might be a total loss.

 

I would just get your engine rebuilt and the price all depends on what's wrong with it. The thing to do is shop a few garages and see who has a good reputation and will do the best work for the buck.
