I won turbo kit on ebay for $1289. entire kit with intercooler, ahve already paid but the company i have won it from is having lots of problems getting it out to me. its been 6 weeks now and i talk to the guy that owns the company atleast 3 times a week and have just found that he is saying UPS lost the package before it ever left miami and he is supposed to send me another kit today. I just dont think i can trust this till i see the turbo kit. i paid with pay apl so i think i can get my money back if i try.time will tell i guess.

You have to go through alot with paypal and stuff. To me it sounds as if the guy is co-operating with you. Ask for a tracking number right away so you can keep tabs on it.

i work for USPS and lemme just say that shippers dont just lose parcels. at worst, they may get misplaced and wind up 1 or 2 days later than expected, but there are never packages just lying around. everything is on its way. when people say something got lost in the mail, its another way of saying they didnt send it at all.

Default Pay pal

Pay pal is not a huge pain in the butt when it comes to dealing with this sort of thing.

Sometimes, just letting the seller know you will go to paypal is enough to make him honor his agreement...but if he doesn't, then you have to deal with paypal.

Basically, you will have to file fraud paperwork with them (online of course), then you will also have to deal with your bank/CC company, file a report. In my experience, if your bank/cc company doesn't take it from there, paypal usually will. Be advised that paypal will only offers it's "buyers protection" to a certain dollar value.

Best of luck!

I agree with the post about not losing packages... UPS NEVER loses packages... I had packages that ended up misplaced and were a week or two late, but never lost. What would they do? Let it fall off the truck and go... "oh well"? It would never be allowed in their business. I say you better start filing a paypal complaint.
