Default Teg questions

Hey guys,
I am new to this whole scene for the most part, and I have some questions. I might be buying a 89 integra for cheap as a project car. It runs ok, but I would like to replace the drivetrain in it. I was wondering what eninges will swap in easily? I was thinking a b18c of some sorts, I would also need a transmission to go with it. How hard would it be to put a b18c in a 89 integra? Also where is a good place to buy suspension parts for the integra? Also what ecu would I have to use?

Thanks
Ben

It won't be cheap for you drop a b18c1 into an 89. Pretty much everything up front needs to be changed out. May I suggest a zc engine and zc tranny. Both of which will bolt right up to your existing mounts, use your existing computer and cost under a 1200 bucks for both. There is a lot of bolt ons available for that motor and it makes the 89 pretty quick. I'm telling you this cause up until the yr. 2001 I had a fully built zc motor in my 89 Integra. Now aside from essential bolts on like the headr and intake, I sourced out and found JG made plenty of internals that used to beef up the motor. Between the civic zc and integra zc the diffrences are slim so parts from thec civic zc can be cross referenced over. Hope this helps.

1.6L DOHC Integra Type ZC. Contact www.speedgarage.com for details. That is where I got my motor for $500 bucks back in 99. There may be a - hypen between speed and garage, not sure...
