rear seat problem/question
hey all, haven't posted in a while.....just wondering, from all the people who have removed rear seats in a 94+ Integra. From my understanding the backs of the rear seats come appart from the actual ass parts of the seats right? i'm wondering 'cause where the two backs meet/pivot in the middle, one side keeps "popping out". like the pin in the center keeps popping outta the hole in the seat back...When the car was bought i noticed a black plastic bushing type thing on the floor. Can someone tell me how the backs are supposed to stay in place. I can't tell on the other seat back 'cause it's tight and i can't push the fabric outta the way to see.
The clip goes toward the sides of the car.
Where it pivots, move the seat toward the center of the car and then you will be able to see a little bar that you can put the clip on.
You will know that it isn't secured if you push the seat toward the wall and pull up and it comes off. If you need to remove the trunk carpeting, just pop all the rivets off and pull the plastic that holds onto the top of the seats out.
