Default Engine Swaps for the ITR

What has worked well? Has anyone tried the K20's?

unless your b18c5 has a hole in it, leave it in. k20's are nice, but very expensive. and yes it has been done.

nothing's wrong with the C5, i was just curious as to how/if it's been done. i've heard of someone putting a crv block in, and turbo'ing it.

a k20 sounds interesting though...anyone know how much they run?

a k20 swap is AT LEAST $7-8k to be done right. that's $7-8k you can put into your c5. a b20 block is an option, but you can just sleeve and bore the c5 to give you the added displacement and it'll be a lot stronger.

keep in mind, that's just for a stock k20. start throwing mods on it, and you will, and watch the numbers soar. :eek3:
