Default turbocharging the type r

well guys i am going to turbo the type r soon. my type r has a jdm engine and i heard that it has a higher cmpression engine then the usdm ones. anyways i plan to have my type r with at least 500 whp. so any suggestions on what i should do to the motor and what type of turbo setup should go with. or if i keep the motor stock and what kind of whp am i looking at. i have a budget of about 10K for the car.
I was just planning on getting a drag turbo the bigest one they have and my motor maybe change pistons, but im not sure. and stand alone, autronic what would be my best bet on getting at least 500whp and more?

ITRs should be left N/A
most R owners will agree, since it was how the car was designed in the first place

i just want to bring this up briefly....you're 17, in hs, with a sc'd gsr AND a 97 itr you want to turbo with a $10k budget....wow. did you rob a bank and sell crack? :uhhok:

here's what you'll need for 500hp:
sleeved
forged internals
a big ass turbo
tuning otherwise your engine will turn into a big paperweight

Not to mention you'll need to upgrade your axles, LSD, and other misc parts or you can watch it break.

i wont go turbo on the type r. Go with all engine work, either skunk2 or toda racing. keep it authentic and genuine to honda roots.
