I agree, labor can be expensive at a dealer, but not that much to put into that dollar range. You could save what they are going to charge, buy the cat your self and put it in by undoing the bolts on both sides, pulling the 02 sensors out of the bungs and putting in the new cat, that should not take long unless your run into pesky bolts. Other than that, like Kai said 1.5 tops.
