I was on the bypass tonight going to starkville to bowl with my g/f. 22miles away. Everything was going good till i ran over a piece of a tire. I was able to get it right down the middle so it didnt screw my tires up. but it fawked my engine bay plastic up on the bottom. will this harm anything in the future if i just remove it? it is almost gone from rubbing on the asphalt.

If you're talking about the under splash guard then it stops water and other things from splashing up into your engine bay. It's something you should replace but I don't think you can buy it as a seperate piece, instead you have to buy a whole bumper. I may be wrong though.

 

ghetto job it, take off whatever piece of plastic there is and duct tape on some more hehe

 

won't harm anything but that piece protects your engine from rocks and from whatever bouncing up and hitting something or getting somewhere they shouldn't

 

ok... i guess i will just order a new one. and take this one off for the mean time.

Mine is totally gone. I have one dirty bay but thats about it. They charge you and arm and a leg for that crap.

lol... i worked on it today. i cut the right portion off and left the left side because of my pullys and such. i also bleed my brakes. my rear two had nothing but air in them :wtf: it brakes much better now! crazy things are discovered when you take time to look at stuff.
