I just purchase an 94 Acura Integra and have been having problems with the sunroof. When i push the button it lifts open for about 2 seconds and then makes a click noise like it is gettin stuck. It also makes this click click noise when I close it...like I am holding the button for to long. I am aussuming that it is supposed to open like a sunroof and not like a moonroof.

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced similar problems and/or if you had any advice about how to fix it myself or if I was to get it fixed how much it would cost?

Just bought it this monday...and it was like that from the beginning...

 

It was like that since I bought it which was this past monday

 

sounds like its not aligned right...welcome to han

Two questions for you...

:huh: What do you mean by this? The sunroof panel lifts up and out to clear the roofline of the car.

Which brings me to my next question...Is the sunroof panel lifing clear of the body?

If it isn't lifting up fully, I would try carefully lubricating and cleaning the track in which the sunroof panel slides. Some light machine oil would do the trick.
Only use a tiny amount of oil, because you don't want to stain the headliner.

I think you might be holding the button too long. Once the panel slides all the forward and the back edge lowers, stop pressing that button. (I've held it too long myself, on occassion. h: )

 

Open the sunroof and look under it and make sure the clips on the sides are on correctly. My sunroof wasn't closing correctly and was making a pop noise and I saw that a clip had come off. I used a screwdriver to put the clip back.

 

yea open it up and check the track there could be a kink in it or wat 94jr said a loose clip good luck with it
