Default How difficult is it to remove the "floor console"

What is the best way to take the console apart and see if the bulb is tight in the socket and that the wiring going to it has no breaks or poor connections anywhere.

How difficult is it?

Thanks.

Its not that bad, there are screws on the side of it by the floor and two under that panel right where the ebrake is. You'll need to remove the top of your shifter to get the 2nd panel off (the floor is in two pieces). I've got a 5spd so i'm not sure how to remove the automatic one, but it shouldn't be too bad. I did all this recently when I ran the wiring for my sub a few weeks ago. Good luck to ya

Like Exadar said, it isn't that difficult. In fact, I pulled mine all out last weekend to clean and vacum the entire interior.
