keep a spare key to ur house or something in the car w/ u so u just make it part of ur daily routine....make sure you dont buy one of the 25,000 civics recalled yesterday :-D

 

same thing happened to my 93 integra, the previous owner liked to eat and drink alot in his car, he spilled a drink in the center consol then it started happening to the car. when i got it i went to the junk yard and got the shifter assembly and all of the relays (switches) that connect to it swaped them out and the problenm never came back it also had a problem with releasing the key when the car was turned off. when i fixed the first problem they both were fixed
