Default my taillights

ok guys
i just got some new taillights for my 94 ls teg. they look great but they don't have any wires or bulbs in them. I hope this is standard. also how do i go about removing my old ones? do i have to take that plastic off the back of the trunk or what?

...Wow....Thats....Nevermind I can't say it...

There are little nuts holding the lights in. Look for the positions on your new ones. And no, the harness does not come with the lights, they're on your car...

I just bought new lights too... and you have to remove the two side panels on the left and right side of the trunk, they are opposite the taillight position. These pop right out... then there are 3-4 screws on each side that you must remove... and then you unplug the wiring harness from the old lights and remove them... once they are out you must take the actual 4 wire harness where bulbs connect. You don't even need to remove the bulbs from their casing in the wiring... just take the whole small wire assembly out. If your new lights are anything like mine then there isnt an actual place in the new lights to hold the harness securely, so I had to just position them and then close the plastic pieces after I installed the tails... I'd also recommend that you test the lights and their appearance before you close everything back up and screw them in. Hope this helps ;p

I would pick up a new taillight gasket before you do the install to eliminate any chances of water leaking into the trunk and lights.

Please tell me you didn't get altezzas....

A slight crack below the body and top of light is normal.

As long as the gasket is in good condition or new, you shouldn't have a problem with water leaks.

Man. I saw a Dodge Grand Caravan with altezzas today...I wanted to go buy a gun and shoot the middle aged woman... I have altezzas on my teg, I like the look better on tegs than on most cars.
