Default how do i switch BOV

hey im about to take over my bro LS turbo and it has a HKS SSQS bov. and i was wondering how can i switch it to a greddy type RS bov instead. would it fit or would i have to get a new charge pipe?!? how would i do this ?

You would have to cut off the existing flange and have a brand new aluminum Greddy flange welded on.

o how much does that run for again. i cant remmeber how much i paid to weld mines the 1st time.. haha

I don't really know. Mine was about $40 when I got it welded initially, so that is probably about right. For all the hassle, I would keep the HKS one on there. It is better anyway.

greddy type rs bov sucks. worst sound ever. wish i would've kept my type s. and dude, you have had some noob threads lately. if you dont know how to change BOV's, you shouldn't have a turboed car
