What would be more useful?

I have just put my mechanical oil pressure gauge out of service since I have had problems since day one with leaks. Mostly some major cabin leaks but more recently, a large leak at the engine block connection. I just disconnected it completely and need some advice on what gauge to get to replace it with.
I want the most useful gauge for a decent price. I really want a EGT gauge, but the price and the welding factor turn me off from that one. I am looking into either an electronic oil pressure gauge or an electronic oil temperature gauge. Which would be more useful?
I also don't want a useless gauge like voltmeter, water temp, or fuel level, so those are definitely out of the question.

What would be more useful, the oil pressure or oil temperature gauge?

The oil pressure would be nice just to know when the engine is warm and it saved my ass one time when I didn't tighten the oil pickup and almost blew the motor due to very low oil pressure.
The oil temperature would also tell me how warm the engine is and it would give me a good idea of how long to let the car idle to cool down the center bearings of the turbo.
Either one seems pretty useful and they are very cheap too, I just want to know what you guys think would be the better option to replace my defunct mechanical oil pressure gauge.
