Default really thinking about getting this (i just checked it out!)

"Friend of a friend selling a integra GSR with 165k for $3300 ? good deal?"

ok i just checked it out...

engine and tranny drive/sounds good -no leaks visable from above or below engine
interior is clean
all stock

problems
-rear side bumper has a impact stratch, bumper is slightly mis-aligned and the bottom of the quarter panel is rusting where it meets the bumper, that side of the rear bumper is visable on the pick but the stratched or misalignment isn't noticable in the pic, but its there.
-antenna doesn't go down (just makes noises)
-paint on hood, sun roof really faded
-muffler is rusting off

When i go on a speed bump the two front suspension creeks, doesn't seem like it needs replacement, but just makes that noise?

3300, and he'll write it as a GIFT (no tax)
still worth it?
I said 3000, he wouldn't budge

1. What year
2. Title?
3. how long has he owned it?
4. What mods did he have and what does it have now?
5. 5speed or Auto (is there an auto gsr)?

If he maintained the car and depends on how much he beat it up. Good deal if he was on top of maintence / repairs.

If it was well taken care off then it's a great deal. Well either way it's a good deal. Cause a full GSR swap is like $3500+

hmm... did he ever modify the car? you may need to replace the front suspension, My gsr when i first got it had the same creek squeek, I had to replace the shocks and lower ball joints.

$3k is a good price, I just hope you find out why it's so cheap.

never modified all stock
did you replace the suspension because of the creeek, or the creek came to something worst? exactly what part is creaking?

well the creaknig was do to the guy lowering the car on eibach sportlines (1.8 inch all around). So the stock shocks were bottoming out. I'm not exactly sure what the creeking was, but when i took my stock shocks out, the rod was bent from bottoming out so much, pretty awful.

that's good that it hasn't been modified. I would get it, it will be alot of fun and it's being sold really cheap.
