Default ???? For Type R owners

When does your redline end: 8.7 etc... I only ask because I have a 98 GSR that my redline is 8.5. I hear some GSR owners state theirs cut off at 8.2.

Also, I was interested at getting a USDM Type R lip but don't know how it look. Could someone please post a picture of one ...Thanks

You want to get an ITR lip but you don't even know how it looks like? Whats the reasoning behind that?

Just go look at any front ITR pic.

The stock tachs are off. The indicated number reads higher than the actual number (i.e., tach shows 8500, but fuel cut is at 8200).

yes
the gsr is limited at 8200 rpms, the ITR is limited at 8400 rpms due to lighter valve springs and a hand polished porting of the intake chambers.
and here is a front shot of an ITR lip
hope this helps
g'luck
