Default bubble in my tire

I just noticed a small bubble on the sidewall of one of my tires. Is this a big deal? (i.e. Something I need to replace right away or what?) The tires are less than a year old, but I didn't buy them, they came on the car when I bought it.

Replace it as soon as you can. It can be a really bad thing. Driving 60mph and pop you have a blowout and the car can go into a spin or off the road in a ditch and flip if you don’t react right. Better safe then sorry.

Yep. Your tire is now an official maypop. It just may pop at any given moment.

A bubble can be caused by a couple of things some of which are hitting a harsh pothole or curb or other types of abuse...

If you can't buy one now and it's in the front make sure you switch the tire with one in the back just in case if it pops your car won't completely lose control... just a word of advice ;]]]

I'd drop whatever you can to get the tire replaced NOW. :eek3:

If that tire blows out at 65mph, it's quite possible that you could write off the car in the ensuing crash.

I looked at the tire again. I guess it's really not that noticeable after all. I mean, there isn't a big bulge or anything really. It just kind of protrudes out at one point a little bit. I am sure I will get the tire replaced here soon. I had to go out of town yesterday and I ended up driving 150 miles and so far no problems. I am going to get the tire looked at and replaced when I get back home on Monday (which will be another 150+ miles). I will post again then, if I make it back ok.

why don't you take it to a tire shop and have them take a look?
