Default Seat belt problems?

ok so this isnt a problem that happens all the time, seems that none are with this car. I can be driving down the road and my seat belt light flashes and a beeping noise on the passenger side kick panel goes off. After staying on a while it will go off. It goes on and off at will. All the seat belts are buckled that needs to be to keep the light on the dash off! I took the kick panel off and looked at the box, it just looks like a big metal box to me with three plugs into it (i believe) i unplugged all and checked them and they looked fine. The problem went away for about a month but its returned, its very annoying! Anyone else had this problem and know a fix for it?

Forgive me for asking...but did they still use the automated shoulder belts in '92? h:

If yes, then I wouldn't screw around with the electrical systems that regulate the belt movement.
If not, I'd disconnect the wires coming from the seat belt buckle.

My old 91 GTi had the same problem... and I traced it back to a contact switch inside the seat belt buckle. Since the dealer wanted $220 for a new buckle assembly, I just disconnected the wire from the chassis harness. No buzzer, no idiot light.

Default beeping

I have a 89 CRX and mine does the same thing. I can reach over and jerk the door handle and it will go away until I hit another small bump. Mine also has like a clicking sound coming from the passengers side also. Sounds like it is around the lower seatbelt retractor in the door. I have checked all of the little plastic L switches and they are fine. I even padded the passenger one thinking that would help and it still does it. I am ready tro cut the beeper, but I would really like to know exactly what is wrong. Any answers, e-mail me at ggflyguy@aol.com Thanks!!!
