Default Changing final drive in 2nd gen

How difficult is it to change the final drive gear in my 1992 GS?

Can I swap in a 4.4 gear set if I get the parts from Acura?

If you don't know, why do you bother replying and whoring?

To answer the question, it is pretty difficult unless you are very mechanically inclined since you have to drop the tranny, crack open the case, and then change out some gearing. Here is a writeup for a GSR tranny where they switched out the final drive to that of a Type R: http://www.hybridgarage.com/tech/fd-swap.html

Your procedure may differ a little, but that is the basic jist of what is involved.
