Default Comfortable Springs / Struts

I'm looking for something a little odd perhaps, but here it is anyways...

I'm looking for lowering springs that lower 1~1.25" Front and 0.75~1" Rear and struts that, together, have a ride almost as compliant and comfortable as stock. I don't push my car that hard around corners, so I don't need all out handling, but I do go on alot of long trips with my car and want to preserve the ride quality I have now (it can be a little harsher, but not much). I definitely want something more comfortable than the Tokico HP and Tein H-Tech combination I have on my Corolla.

Thanks!

Do you have that combination on your teg.? If yes, how is the ride quality compared to stock?

My shocks went bad on my GSR, I wasn't really feelin' the Tokico shocks so I did my research and copped some Bilstein shocks, top of the line german shizz. I also got some RSR springs which give a 2" drop front and a 1.6" drop rear, which is probably too much for you... but i'm installing them this weekend, i'll tell you how it goes.

Yah, let me know, i'll be interested to see how you like the Bilstein's.

From reading on here, and what you guys are saying, i'll probably end up buying some KYB AGX's over the winter, and next summer get some Neuspeeds...

Are you sure that you only want to lower it an inch I have the Eibach Prokit and Koni yellows on my car and the prokits lower the car 1.3 inches all around. Sometimes I wish I had lowered it more but its not too bad about a 2 finger gap. I felt the same way you dont want to lower it too much but once you get it done you wish it was lower but overall Im satisfied with the combo .

well, i plan on getting a lip for it in the front, and lowered, and i drive it in the winter, I don't really feel like plowing the road :P but yah, I might go a bit lower, my Corolla was lowered 1.3" and i drove it all winter with all season tires (im in canada), and it was perfectly fine... i'll see... but i still want a comfy combination

I will get H&R OEM sports and KYB AGX adjustibles when I replace the shocks. The springs give a minimal drop(0.75") and the adjustible shocks should make it easy to keep the ride where I want it.

I put a set of eibach prokits & tokico illuminas on about 2 months ago. I'm happy with the 1.5" drop around (the front still has a bit more gap than the rear), and the shocks are great. When i'm in the mood for stiff rides, I set the dials on the shocks up to full stiff (5), and when i'm highway driving, i can set them back to 1 or 2. I find this a great ride, and stiffer than the original equipment. Next change I make will be a sway bar (and reinforcements) for the rear.

dwight.
