Mirrors: Difference between 94-97 and 98+

Mirrors: Difference between 94-97 and 98+
What is the difference in the mirrors of b/c my car has 2 different mirrors on it for some reason and i need to get a matching one but not sure which year to buy

94-97 Mirrors have Smooth Surface with no Ridges, like so...
98-01 Mirrors have a Ridge on the Surface, like so...
See the difference?

It is strange because I have a 96 but I have 98+ mirrors. :thinking:

actually, the change happened in 96. it's 94-95 for the smooth, and 96-01 for the edged.
