Is the flange some sort of an adapter? and what about the downpipe...if it's an adapter then the 2.5" headers have to be shorter so theres room right?

the 2.5" flange replaces the one on the stock cat. or you can just get a new 2.5" cat.

yeah the jdm header is brushed look and i think i'd put the heat shield on for the low profile look
not to put down your header on your car, but just because it's made to be like the jdm OEM peice, doesn't mean it performs the same way
i will glady pay the extra 150-200 dollars for the OEM 4-1 honda header anyday

I'd save for the Toda. I had it on my B18C5 hatchback, it was a great piece.

This is the header I now have...

(These headers are made with T-304 stainless steel, Mandrel bent tubing, CNC Machined Flanges. Each set is tested and dynoed to make sure the fitment and performance meet our goal. Each header comes with 1 year warranty.)

...And I sold this one to get the one up top ^^, The one I used to have but sold looked like this....

(This JDM Integra Type-R header is the exact piece found on the Japanese Honda IntegraType-R 98-00.The 4-1 design will provide impressive flow characteristics, even when compared with other aftermarket headers. Being a factory production header, constructed completely of stainless steel this header will assure years of durable, corrosion free performance. 60mm collector flange must use special 'donut' gasket and requires modification for most applications. OEM upper and lower heat shields available seperately. Made in Japan (Honda).
