I have the opportunity to pick up ITR cams, stock header, and stock exhaust off a friend for a good price. My 95 GSR is relatively stock sans a CAI. How beneficial would the ITR parts be for my GSR? What kind of gains am I looking at? I know that most people would say 'buy aftermarket parts', but I'm currently trying to save my $$ to have my engine refreshed (it's got close to 170k on it, but believe me.... it still goes like hell) Also, do I need to get a different cat or test pipe to fit the gap between the ITR header and exhaust? I'm pretty sure the older GSR cats are longer than the newer ones. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

Don't buy that Type-R crap, get aftermarket man, but just to help you out i'll let your friend sell that stuff to me

Seriously - that's an excellent deal man and you will definetly see nice gains if you upgrade your stuff to the Type-R b-pipe and axelback. If it was me I'd jump all over that deal :thumbup:

 

How much does he want for the parts? It sounds like a good deal.
