Default trunk brace?

I have only seen it once and on a type-R. It was a brace in the hatch, right above where your spare tire would be but on the rear of the hatch, anyone know what im talking about?

Also does anyone have pics or knows where i can see some pics of some autocross teggys. Not just driving pics i mean pics of what there engine looks like or there trunk or underbody. thx

That's because the trunk brace came stock on the Type R.

If you are talking trunk, do you have a sedan or hatchback? If you have a sedan, IMHO, it is not worth it to add this brace, as the sedan is already much stiffer than the HB, due to the fact that it does not have a huge hole in the rear. You would probably get more of an improvement from the ITR rear sway bar(MUST be reinforced), or a lower tie bar. These are all things that would probably put you in a different autocross class.
