Default Integra engine rebuild

As many of you mite know I'm searching for a 5 speed integra LS or GS-R. If i bought one with over 150 k miles how much does it cost to rebuild the engine. I'm also curious to know how much it helps.

I would just do this. New piston rings, oil pump, water pump, new tention pully, timingbelt, head gasket, and I would have the head decked and have a valve job done to it. You'll have a great motor for years!!!!!!!! Ohh and change the rod bearings.

Also depends on what the plans for your engine is... my guess is if you're looking for an LS, you're likely turboing it right?? So... engine rebuild may include pistons and rods, and all the happiness that accompanies them.

you can do a basic oem rebuild or go all out and do a performance rebuild. depends on your budget and goals.

Exactly. There's a crap-load of parts that need to be changed out regardless of what you choose to do. Honura has mentioned a few of the major parts, but there's LOT of little things that you might not realize you should change out.
