Default integra si information needed

I'm looking for any info on the integra si, all I know is it has the 1.8 vtec engine, is this the same as the type r? are there many variations of the b18 if so what engine should the si version have and what power does it produce? the car I need the info for is a 94 model imported from japan and thats all I know, where in the range does the si figure and what features does it have or not have over other tegs? sorry for all the questions but any info at all would be a huge help.

Well to be honest the only model I know of is the type r as that was the only model available in the UK, but I have seen this import for sale and like I say is advertised as a 1.8 si vtec??? how do I tell what model it actually is then?

well I'v never herd of a si integra. But if it has a vtec it probally like the GS-R or type-r. sence the ls rs se gs are all non-vtec. I'm leaning toward the GS-R. The civic has a si and its a vtec.

well look on the stock rpm gauge if it redlines at 8k its a gs-r. If it goes higher its probally a type-R.

I'm 100% sure it's not a type r so it must be a gs-r, how does this model differ from the type r?

he probally means the JDM SIR-G integra available only in Japan, Came with the GSR motor, looks like a USDM integra only made them from 93-95 i think. They do come with the foglights, sidemarkers. Other than that they look almost the same as a 94-97 USDM GSR with the cloth seats. And of course its RHD
