Default Silvania VS philips bulbs

Are the two brands equivalent?

Are the 9005 Sylvania Cool Blue bulbs the same as Philips Blue Vision bulbs??

I already tried the Silvania's on my other car.. but I could easily find the philips for my G3... should I?

if your buying autozone "cool blue" bulbs or the phillips from there? I work at autozone, they don't stay blue at all they also don't look very blue. i think the're $20 per bulb?

If your look for a blue, get the nokya arctic white, they are white w/ a blue tint, they look pretty cool. Although they aren't as bright as oppose to getting "hyper white or super white" type bulbs.

here $22.

I'm not really looking for the blue in the bulb. I had a pair of sylvania's on my G2 before installing JDM one-pieces and they were nice. I'm simply asking cause the Sylvania's are harder to find here... nobody seems to carry the 9005 and the Philips are readily available.

They are about $13 each. I know the Silverstars would be better, but I don't really feel like paying $30 per bulb.

So I want to know if i'll get the same results with the Philips or if I should stick with the Sylvania's.

Just searched ebay for "9005 silverstar": $25 buy-it-now price, $5 shipping. $30 for two bulbs.

No relation with the seller.... just saying it's $30 for both, not per bulb.

I'm in canada! So this wouldn't be $30 for a pair... Shipping would be higher, customs fees and money exchange rate would rape me.

I saw the silverstars at $26,99 per bulb here locally. Can't really argue with that. Cool Blue's are $13,99 per bulb. I Think i'll go with the Sylvania's or Philips, first I see.
