What MPG are you getting?

h:As an example, I helped a friend with Mk I Golf GTi switch over to a fuel cell [as he built up the car for Group N rally]. The original gas tank had held up for 250,000 miles. When we drained it, that thing was gunked up with some nasty crap -- and it wasn't rust. :ugh:
So it happens.

This old Golf I referred to had been run hard and criminally neglected.

Thanks, this confirms my mpg is similar with everyone else's.
My gas bill was $450-500/month with the SVT Lightning.
It's now only $130/month with the 'Teg. Me likey the savings $$$

both times i drove from my house to Toronto, Ontario, Canada (~600 miles) i would fill back up once just outside of the Lewistown Bridge (border point). then i would arrive in Toronto with about 3/4 of tank left.
I average around 30 mpg.
