New transmission break-in?
I just got my new Type-R transmission from UPS yesterday, and I'm going to be putting it in next week. It's brand new, OEM Honda, as in no miles on it, and I was wondering what the break-in procedure, if any, is.
There may be a break in procedure for the factory LSD, but I'm not positive.

I've read a bit on that....
the thing with transmissions, is that when you pound on a brand spanking new one for the very first time, when it heats up, it sorta lathes itself, and hardens up because of this.
I hear the best way to do it, is to drive it normal and gently (i.e. like your mom would, not you.) for 5-700miles to break it in a bit, and then pound the shit out of it like that vtec likes to set it in place.... SHOULD give you a hella-sturdy, damn responsive clutch.
again, this is just off of what I read, not what I know from personal experience... I'll try to find the write up on that when I'm not at work. :P
