The OEM filters by Purolator have performed beautifully.
I'm not as confident in the newer FRAM-built filters. h:

Have a gander at the links page in the Integra FAQ.
There's a link to a filter evaluation webpage hosted by NTPOG.

[BTW, before I read up on the subject, I used FRAM filters too. h: The NTPOG review was my intervention. ]

That's the japanese-made filter I'm reccomending. MUCH better than the Fram ones...

A little info on them:

ok so....the w does not i repeat not stand for winter....in your standard weight say 5w30 oil the 5 is your startup weigh and the 30 represents your weight at engine operating temp....in colder climates or in winter a lighter startup like a 5w30 is better than a 10w30 for the simple fact that the lighter oil allows the engine to roll over easier but still has the same consistency at operation...on whether a 5w30 or 10w30 is better thats personal preference really depends on which startup weight you want...10w30 is probalby the best year round oil to use if you dont want to have to reember to change weights...5w30 will work in summer but higher performance a 10 would be better in the summer...and id highly recomend avoiding penzoil...alot of motors we get in our shop with penzoil in it just looks nasty...never had good luck with it...on filters stp, k&n, and a couple other brands mentioned dont make their own filters just so u guys no u should check for who actually makes them for them....purolator, wix, and fram are the top three manufactors of filters in the us...and wix is the top by far...they have some of the best internal media ive seen in a filter even better than the majority of oem filters ive seen. the k&n oil filter although extremely nice isnt worth the extra money if you change the filter at the recomended interval
