Default introduction and question

Hi all! My name is dain and i own a 93' integra auto transaxle

i recently had a timing belt issue and the mechanic telld me that the valves were stuck open. he had the head machined and ok. well later on i find out that he didnt have to mess with the steering rods even though in his malmechanics he took the engine out in search of a repair.

this wouldnt have mattered except we are now at odds and a week after i have been driving it the right tie rod comes loose/off. now i have a fluid leek. i am confident it is steering fluid. any advise?

also it seems that i now have an overdrive on my four speed automatic. this is not normal is it? will this end up damaging my transmission?

thanks from a newbie

You always had overdrive (OD) on your transmission, so yes, it is normal.
