well, give us some more detail . . .

vafc - controls your vtec . . .

etc . . . .

put a supercharger, NOSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, and a turbo on it all at the same time and you will run 13's all day!!!!!!!!!

just kidding. there are a ton of things you can do to a GSR. please be more specific with your question.

thinking about ignition timing, belts and stuff at proper stretch....those kinds of tings. I heard that sparkplugs need to be facing the same way or else u could lose power....so it scared me.

I've never heard about spark plug dirrection. i agree with singhg83. i'm currently rebuilding my integra motor, b18c1 with integra type r pistons. it should bring my compression to 11.13 to 1 from 10 to 1. thats a large increase in compression, while still being able to run pump fuel. my friend has a apexi vafc and he says it works like magic. send me a message in a month or so, everything should be done by than, i'll let you know how its running. I CANT WAIT

Just make sure it is tuned up on proper intervals. Check ignition timing, cap/rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs, fuel filter, PCV valve, timing belt, etc to make sure it is full working order. Proper maintenence is the best thing you could do to your car to ensure its health past 200k miles.
