i went to replace the mount in the gsr today thinking that was the problem just to find out that one of the bolts on the tranny case broke off!!!! how do i fix this..... if any one has the piece i need PM me please. [IMG]trans2[/IMG]

 

probally going to have to drill it out and tap a new hole

 

the actual case snapped too.... half the threading is snapped off.

the casing broke to? how did this happen?

 

i had the trans rebuilt a year ago buy aamco and the a$$ hole over tightend it i guess.. he scratched the car in numerous places also..... i dont drive my car verry hard so i guess it hasnt been a big problem..... the only way i even knew was cause my friends at jbr auto noticed it.

 

Get new casing.

 

well im having the case welded by my freinds shop...should only be like 250 w/labor

 

There are halves of B-series tranny cases on eBay for about $50 plus shipping...

 

what are they listed as?? i was looking and did not see them?
