Im looking in to getting a new suspension, and was wondering if anyone knows if the tein basic damper is good, its a spring and shock set up.

Yeah they are good, but the shocks are nonadjustable.

Yes, but I don't believe tokico makes as good of a shock...and I know a lot of people who didn't like their blues.

Depending on what you want, there's two significantly better ways to go than just the basics: TeinSS and Omnipower coilovers. TeinSS coilovers are the same as the basics, but with adjustable shocks, which give you enough tunability to affect the rotation of your car. If you want something a lot sporties, the omnipower coilovers have nonadjustable shocks, BUT have adjustable lower perches and higher spring rates with pillowball mounts. A lot better if you're looking to track your car.

But, the basics are very good coilovers, but there's significantly better systems for just a little more money that you should look at.
