Default Power door locks

I have a 95 teg with no owner's manual. How do I turn off the automatic door locking feature? I'm not sure what determines when it locks - it tends to be about 20 secs after starting the car. Problem is it doesn't seem to matter if I'm in the car or not - it'll lock me out if it wants to. How do I shut this off?

That this happend to my buddy in his Tercel......it was some feature with his alarm........do you have an alarm in your integra? My g/f's 94 LS doesn't lock automatically so that's why i think it might have to do with an alarm. I know it's pretty dumb 'cause it's EASY to look yourself outta your car.

its the alarm for sure....find out what alarm you have installed on there (im assuming you just purchased your car)...and you need to look at the manual for your alarm, not the car....its called autoarm i think, but it is set to lock the doors after certain amount of time just incase you forget to.

Yeah, definitely the alarm, and it's not an OEM alarm either. My car doesn't do that.

I agree, definitely something funny going on with the alarm.

Well, someone shoulda told me the car had an alarm. And maybe given me the manual for that too. It doesn't seem to have an alarm, though. Could it be anything else?

(Buying used is such a dangerous game....)

its an aftermarket alarm that you usually have if you have the autoarm. my friends alarm is a clifford and he has it set on autoarm after 20 seconds.

Is there anything else it could possibly be? 'Cos I've had the car for 5 months and there's never been any indication of an alarm... just crazy door locks. Am I really that incompetent that I never noticed the alarm?
