Default ebay headers

I saw several headers on ebay for reasonable price my question is do header need to name brand to be good

not necessarly, but again, you get what you pay for. Most of the time, these names are big names and known for a reason...

^^ agreed u get what u pay for, wouldn't personally go for an ebay header, rather deal with a big company if something is wrong with it, or if u have warrenty issues, well i don't think the ebay one will have a warrenty but... in general.

cant say, most people here avoid it due to fears of power loss or whatnot... nevertheless, if your stock one's rusted and has a hole in it, you really have nothing to lose I guess... if you do try, maybe you can give us some insight haha.

You will be guaranteed to have your welds crack very quickly with a cheap ebay header. I wouldn't buy an ebay no-name header not for fear of low power gains, but rather shoddy construction that will make you wish you bought a quality header to begin with.

actually one of them did come with a warrantie it was 150 bucks it was a 2peice it seem fairly good

a dc HEADER is not that much more expensive just get a good HEADER from a real company

umm idk but i thought id post here to show off that i got GReddy header+downpipe for my teg off ebay for $185... amazing deal

Downpipes are for turbo setups....

Anyway, that is a good deal on a good quality header. I would prefer a SS Greddy over a ceramic DC because they are cheaper and look much better.

you can put a downpipe on without a turbo... its part of exhaust
