ok here's the situation, my 1995 acura integra rs is turring over and starting but not staying started, and i mean it just dies but the power still is on i just had the distributer timed and a new fule filter installed, and im still getting the problem.
any help would be great thanks

 

ignitor or coil perhaps? Have you checked your plugs for spark?

 

well changed the spark plug's didn't change athing still had the same problem,i think its the ignition switch so im going to try and replace that. but so far i can only find them at dealers , just a question is this problem common for all integra's of my year?.

 

I had the exact same problem with my gsr. It would start and sit there and "ponder" whether it'd stay on or not. After I replaced my plugs, the problem started to fade. It happens once or twice every few months, so I think I'll have to replace my wires as well. As long as you're getting spark and the car's starting eventually you're good. Definitely fix it though in case it gets worse.

 

recently did a tune-up on my g/f's 94 Integra LS and a day after the tune-up the car wouldn't start for the life of it..........turned out the coil took a dump. I managed to get a used one outta a 98 and the dude charged me 1/2 of what the dealer wanted for a new one. It worked out 'cause i got a free tow outta it. I think the dude was too high to realize.........not my fault

 

...oh, my whole point was..............shit doesn't last forever.......you have a 10 year old car....shit's gonna break/fall apart/die.

Btw i know this is a little off hand of the subject but dose anyone know were i can a good canadian site for skirt kits all i get are american ones ( not that there's anything wrong with the american sites just dont want to pay the masive shipping fees ), thanks again for the help.
