Default type r exhaust on a gsr

i have a 98 gsr and my exhaust is rotted up. i got a 4-1 header and im looking for something not that loud but still so performance. so i ordered a type r exhaust from acura. everyone thinks it should fit . does anyone actually no if it will or not?

It won't directly bolt on because your catalytic converter is longer than the ITR's.

You'll need to extend the B pipe a little bit.

Did you order the complete cat back or just the muffler, if it was just the muffler then you can go to your local muffler shop and have them custom fit it for you.

you can buy an LS header and cat and it will all bolt up. at least thats what i heard.

it cost 458 for the hole system with the gaskets and stuff

This is true...or he can have the B-pipe lengthened by a muffler shop.

i have a dc header, apexi gsr bpipe and type r axle back...i had to get my b pipe extended cause the axleback was rubbing against my rear lca and sway bar...my friends uncle charged me 30$ to add some piping. works like a charm now

i got and 3 or 4 inch expand pipe that i got from tanbe from my old integra and its a bolt on too.
